
Things were pretty tricky around the elementary today! We had flood drills, brown e's, and were on the hunt for the infamous Sloof Lirpa! Happy April Fools' Day! Be sure to ask your kiddos about all the fun we had today!




Congratulations to Latta FFA members Jocelyn James, Beau Griffin, and Kas Reeves. They went to the Poteau Pirate Throwdown speech contest Monday night. Jocelyn won first in Ag Policy and Extemp. Beau took first in Agriscience with Kas placing top two in his room, and after call backs placed second out of 46 FFA Creed speakers. Job well done!!


These FCCLA students competed in state STAR events last Thursday. They will find out how they placed at the FCCLA state convention April 10th and if they qualify for national competition in Orlando this summer. 🤞🏻


Congrats to our 8th grade Lady Panthers Bostyn Thompson, Kelbi Williams, and Lyla Standridge for playing in the 4th annual Inter-Tribal Rising Stars game. Kelbi was named the games MVP! Well done girls!

Yesterday was a full day of competing at the Southeastern Regional Speech Tournament in Seminole. We are proud to say that Isaak Hamilton and Emma Skinner placed 2nd with their Dramatic Duet and will be headed to state! Congratulations to them and great job to all our speech competitors on their hard work this season.

During Read Across America Week, our middle school students showcased their incredible artistic talent in the annual bookmark contest.
Each of our winner’s design stood out for its originality, and their work truly embodied the spirit of the week, celebrating the importance of literacy and the endless possibilities that books provide.

Congrats to the 8th grade girls basketball players who were selected to play in the 4th annual Inter-tribal Rising Stars All-Star game! The game will be played on March 29th at Okmulgee in the Mvskoke Dome.


Mrs. Reeves’ Interpersonal Studies class was blessed to have the Cochrans, Whites, and Todds speak to them about marriage. Thank you to all three couples for investing in our students!
