Congratulations to Holden Lee on becoming Latta's 5th Oklahoma Academic All-Stater in school history! The academic All-State Award is one of the most prestigious honors in Oklahoma, presented to only 100 outstanding public high school seniors in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, and community service. Previous winners from Latta include: Elizabeth Caton (1997), Stephanie Wilburn (2006), Elizabeth Crawford (2022), and Kyndal Schlup (2023).
We recently hosted our annual staff chili cook-off. Mr. Painter has done it again and been awarded the coveted Chili Bowl trophy! Thank you to all our participants and taste testers!

A few music students had the opportunity to attend the Women’s Choral Leadership Workshop at the University of Oklahoma today. They spent the day learning beautiful music with other high school and college students. It was a wonderful day filled with great music!
Our Latta Lady Panthers💪placed 1st out of 35 & our Panthers💪placed 4th out of 53 @ the Chickasha small school meet today! They hit or attempted a lot of new PR’s! Proud of their effort!
We missed our DECA kids but know they’re representing well at DECA state!! & missed our guy Mathew Sanders who’s at home recovering from surgery!
