The 8th and 10th grade parent meetings for pre-enrollment that were scheduled for Monday night have been moved to Tuesday night, because of high school regional playoffs. The meetings will be Tuesday night at 6:00 P.M. for 8th grade and 7:00 P.M. for 10th grade in the high school cafeteria.

Latta Public Schools will be closed for a snow day, Tuesday, February 18th.


Emma Skinner, Isaak Hamilton, and Brooklyn Lewis spent their Saturday competing at the Ada Cougar Classic Speech and Debate Tournament. Emma and Isaak placed 1st in Dramatic Duet, and Brooklyn placed 2nd in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking. On top of that, they have all qualified for Regionals! Congratulations to these hardworking students!

Back in the fall, the HS and JH softball parents did a fundraiser through Vertical Raise. Rhemy Traylor was our top participant and won a custom glove from Veteran Bat Co. Thanks to all of our supporters!


The Latta JOM parent committee would like to thank everyone for coming out and helping with the stomp dance. We raised the amount needed to purchase blankets for our seniors. Thank you to all that came to the dance. Thank you to those who donated items that made this event a success.

Thursday, 13 Latta Middle School students participated in Circle the State with Song (a treble choir festival) in Shawnee with over 150 students from the surrounding area. They had a great day practicing and performing 7 songs, and had lots of fun while also learning a lot!
