Culinary Basics students have completed Chicken Week! Students learned how cut a whole bird into its eight pieces and fry it. They also saved the backbones to make stock later in semester. In addition, students spent time researching the most cost effective way to purchase chicken.

Thursday-Saturday two Latta students had the awesome opportunity of participating in the OkCDA Junior High All-State Mixed Chorus. Nathan Eidson and Caisen Herrera competed against thousands of students across the state for the honor to be in this choir, which is truly made up of the best of the best. Instead of being out in the snow, these boys were in OKC learning, practicing, and performing some incredible music, and despite missing out on the snow, they had a great time! Congratulations to these two for all their accomplishments and for representing our school well!
